Do I need to have previous knowledge in self defense?

We regularly integrate beginners into our classes, most people who join have zero martial arts experience.
Ju Jitsu is a wide-ranging art covering close quarter self-defence, joint locks, throws, submissions, kicks and punches – everything really!

Can I bring a snack?

All students should bring a non-fizzy drink, water is ideal. We encourage regular drinks breaks to teach hydration – most people do not drink enough, so this is one way to teach this life skill. Generally food should not be necessary for 1 or 2 hours of training – if you have a medical condition that requires sustenance, then please make your coach aware.

I am overweight/ unfit what shall I do?

Building fitness and losing weight take time, but you need to start somewhere. Our classes are designed to work you at your current fitness level and then help you to gradually increase that and improve your skills, fitness and muscle tone. Start now – contact us.
