This is an open course so both members of LJJ and non-members are very welcome.

Carl Fisher is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BLACK BELT orginially from Bolton where he ran "Combat Base" for a number of years. Now he lives in London and runs "Checkmat Wimbledon".

Carl's resume runs as follows;

- Started training in traditional Ju Jitsu in 1994 (same as ours)

- Works as a nighclub bouncer and has done for over 20 years

- Tranistioned over to BJJ groundfighting around 1999

- STOP PRESS! 9th October 2016 Carl Fisher received his Black Belt in Brazilain Ju Jitsu from Luiz Ribeiro, head coach of London Fight Factory and in the presence of Leo Vieira, the founder of Checkmat!  FANTASTIC, well done Carl :-)
